KREASI Kayong Utara implemented by Majelis Dikdasmen and PNF PP Muhammadiyah, held a Public Dialogue on Strengthening the Children’s Forum, Community-Based Integrated Child Protection (PATBM), and the Task Force on Criminal Acts of Violence (Satgas TPPK) on 31 January 2026. The event was attended by various stakeholders working in the field of child protection.
Director of KREASI Majelis Dikdasmen PP Muhammadiyah, Ghufron Amirullah, emphasized that every child, both girls and boys, has equal rights to receive the highest quality education. According to him, efforts to protect and fulfill children’s rights today are an important investment in the nation’s future.
“Girls and boys are children who should have equal access to the highest quality education. We are designing the future of our children,” said Ghufron.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Office of Social Affairs, Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection, and Village Community Empowerment (SP3APMD) of Kayong Utara District, Andri Candra, stated that the future of the region is strongly determined by the quality of child protection today.
“The future of Kayong Utara is largely determined by how far we are able to ensure that children grow and develop in an environment that is safe, healthy, and dignified, free from all forms of violence, discrimination, and mistreatment,” stressed Andri.
Coordinator of KREASI Kayong Utara, Anti Angraini, explained that this public dialogue serves as a strategic space to bring together cross-sector understanding in efforts to reduce the rate of violence against children in the area.
“We are able to bring the Children’s Forum, PATBM, and the TPPK Task Force into one room to build a shared understanding, so that efforts to prevent and respond to violence against children in Kayong Utara can be carried out in a more integrated way,” she explained.
Anti also presented the achievements of the KREASI Kayong Utara, which has been running since February 2025. To date, program progress has reached 96.3 percent of the milestone targets across the four predetermined outcomes.
“This program is driven by child protection. We are committed to helping reduce the rate of violence in Kayong Utara. Based on KPAD data, in 2025, there were an additional 33 recorded cases of violence against children, and this is a serious concern for us,” concluded Anti.
Through this public dialogue, KREASI Kayong Utara hopes to build stronger synergy among stakeholders in creating a safe and child-friendly environment, as well as strengthening the child protection system in Kayong Utara District.
