The Government of Nias Selatan and KREASI officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) as the foundation for strategic collaboration to improve the quality of education on Thursday, 14 August 2025. The signing ceremony was attended by Nias Selatan Regent Sokhiatulo Laia, Vice Regent Yusuf Nache, Regional Secretary Ikhtiar Duha, and KREASI Nias Selatan District Representative Reinhard Simanjuntak.
The signing marked an important moment for both parties to work together on various education programs. The main goal of this collaboration is to strengthen the education system in Nias Selatan, with the hope that initiatives to improve teacher capacity and school development will be implemented in a more structured and sustainable way.

In his remarks, Regent Sokhiatulo Laia expressed his appreciation for KREASI’s active contributions. He also emphasized the importance of collaboration between government and non-governmental organizations in realizing better education. Under the MoU, KREASI will provide technical support and program facilitation, while the local government will contribute policy support and resources.
With this MoU, KREASI’s programs are expected to deliver broader and more equitable impact, particularly in improving literacy, numeracy, and the professional development of teachers and school principals. The signing reflects the strong commitment of both parties to building a better educational future for the next generation in Nias Selatan.
