To strengthen teacher professionalism and their capacity as learning leaders, KREASI Kayong Utara organized a Training on Enhancing Teacher Competence as Learning Leaders from 27–29 October 2025. The activity was officially opened by Secretary of the Kayong Utara Education Office, Syarifah Masna.
The training featured a resource person from the Teacher and Education Personnel Center (BGTK) of Kalimantan Barat, Oktariana Dwi Wulandari, who delivered material on instructional leadership, innovative teaching methods, and strengthening teachers’ character as agents of change in schools. Participants gained a range of experiences and hands-on practice in developing learning strategies that are reflective, collaborative, and learner-centered.
Through this activity, KREASI Kayong Utara reaffirms its commitment to supporting education quality improvement in Kayong Utara by strengthening the role of teachers as inspiring learning leaders. The training is expected to help build a learning culture that is dynamic, creative, and adaptive.

The Program of KREASI or Kolaborasi untuk Edukasi Anak Indonesia (Collaboration for the Education of Indonesian Children) is funded by the Global Partnership for Education, developed by the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, and the Ministry of Religious Affairs. KREASI in Kayong Utara is being implemented by Save the Children and local implementing partner Majelis Dikdasmen dan PNF PP Muhammadiyah, support by the Government of Kayong Utara with aims to improve the quality of education in Indonesia by strengthening teaching, learning, and student development.
