A total of 32 SD/MI teachers in Ketapang took part in a three-day intensive training from 30 October to 1 November 2025. The training, titled “Introduction to Coding and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Learning,” was organized by KREASI Ketapang.
The training aimed to equip teachers with digital literacy, AI-based learning, and the philosophy of deep learning.
The sessions were delivered by the main speakers, Uslan from Universitas Muhammadiyah Kupang and Sari Palestina from Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta. The topics covered included:
- Growth Mindset and Deep Learning
- Implementation of Coding and AI in Primary Schools
- Augmented Reality Technology in Education
- 7 Jurus BK Hebat and Healthy Children’s Habits
- Planning and Assessment for Deep Learning
“Through this training, we hope teachers can become digital talents who can pass on the benefits to their peers and students,” said Program Manager KREASI Kalimantan Barat, Julni Rahmawan.
“We want to develop Master Teachers and Master Trainers within the next two years, so that digital education transformation can be sustainable,” emphasized Focal Point KREASI Majelis Dikdasmen & PNF PP Muhammadiyah, Dendy Wijaya Saputra.
The training not only focused on technology, but also emphasized the importance of a growth mindset, brain-based learning, and a holistic approach through thinking, feeling, nurturing the heart, and physical activity. Teachers were encouraged to become agents of change who inspire, not merely instructors.

The Program of KREASI or Kolaborasi untuk Edukasi Anak Indonesia (Collaboration for the Education of Indonesian Children) is funded by the Global Partnership for Education, developed by the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, and the Ministry of Religious Affairs. KREASI in Ketapang is being implemented by Save the Children and local implementing partner Majelis Dikdasmen dan PNF PP Muhammadiyah, support by the Government of Ketapang with aims to improve the quality of education in Indonesia by strengthening teaching, learning, and student development.
