KREASI Aligns for Year Two During Third Quarterly LEG Meeting

The third quarterly meeting of Local Education Group (LEG) featured a key agenda item: reviewing progress and aligning the Program of KREASI for its second year of implementation.

The discussion broadly focused on three main areas: program achievements, on-the-ground challenges, and plans for strategic improvements and adjustments in Year Two.

The meeting highlighted that KREASI has successfully fostered the participation of schools, communities, and local governments in building a safe and inclusive education ecosystem.

However, several challenges were also identified, including the intensity of implementation, coordination bottlenecks, and the need for a more effective teacher professional development model.

The second-year plan will place greater emphasis on aligning school-level activities with district education policies.

One key recommendation was to synchronize local knowledge generation at the district level with national-level publication and curation, ensuring good practices can be replicated in other regions.

Overall, this reflection marked a critical turning point in ensuring KREASI remains adaptive, contextually relevant, and impactful. With continued strong collaboration from all stakeholders, the Year Two implementation is expected to be more focused, efficient, and results-driven—delivering real benefits for children across Indonesia.
