At the commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia, the Teacher and Education Personnel Center (BGTK) of Kalimantan Barat Province presented an award to KREASI Kayong Utara, which is implemented by Majelis Dikdasmen PNF PP Muhammadiyah. The ceremony took place at the BGTK Kalimantan Barat Office courtyard, Jungkat, Mempawah District, on Sunday (17/08/2025).
The award was given as an appreciation for the contribution of KREASI Kayong Utara in strengthening teachers’ capacity in various strategic areas, including literacy, numeracy, character education, counseling, school leadership, child protection, climate change, and GEDSI (Gender, Disability, and Social Inclusion). All these initiatives were carried out through a deep learning approach to promote quality education for all children.
Head of BGTK Kalimantan Barat Wasimin presented the award directly to KREASI field representatives. They were Program Manager of KREASI Kalimantan Barat Julni Rhamawan, Coordinator of KREASI Kayong Utara Anti Angraini, and Coordinator of KREASI Ketapang Santoso Setio.
This award highlights the role of KREASI Kayong Utara as a local initiative capable of strengthening teacher capacity through cross-sector collaboration. With the support of Majelis Dikdasmen PNF PP Muhammadiyah, the program is recognized for successfully delivering inclusive, relevant, and competitive education practices in the face of today’s challenges.
