KREASI Pesisir Barat held a Working Group Forum (Kelompok Kerja/Pokja) on Monday (25/08/2025). This event became an important meeting to strengthen cross-sector coordination in improving the quality of learning and foundational skills for children from preschool to elementary school through the education ecosystem established by KREASI.
KREASI Pesisir Barat formed four working groups: Teacher Competency Working Group, Principal Competency Working Group, Early Childhood Education Transition Working Group, and Child Protection Working Group. These thematic groups consist of representatives from government, school principals, teachers, and other education stakeholders. The working groups aim to serve as key drivers within the education ecosystem to address challenges with concrete, field-based solutions.
Through this forum, the established working groups were encouraged to align visions and actions to improve learning quality and the attainment of foundational skills. Members discussed the alignment of solution implementation proposals and planned technical strategies to ensure the success of the four priority solutions already prepared.
KREASI Pesisir Barat District Representative, Rikson Simanjuntak, stated that efforts to improve education quality and build an inclusive, collaborative, and sustainable education ecosystem require a platform for cross-sector coordination.
“This forum is a collaborative platform that unites the roles of various education stakeholders in Pesisir Barat. It is part of KREASI’s efforts to improve education quality and promote sustainable, collaborative solutions within the education ecosystem,” Rikson said on Monday (25/08).
It is hoped that this activity will strengthen synergy between the government and the education community. Beyond producing finalized proposals, the meeting is expected to establish strong strategies and role distribution within the working groups, so that the education ecosystem in Pesisir Barat will become more robust and able to respond to challenges in literacy, numeracy, and child protection.
