KREASI Pesisir Barat, in collaboration with the PKK and Dharma Wanita of Pesisir Barat Regency, held a Joyful PAUD-to-Primary School Transition Campaign under the theme “Joyful Smiles of Pesisir Barat’s Children, Happy Transition! From PAUD to Primary School, Great Children Ready to Take the Step!” The event took place at Pesisir Barat Field on Tuesday, 29 July.
This activity was carried out to raise the collective awareness of the community regarding the importance of early childhood education (PAUD), and to support a joyful and meaningful transition from PAUD to primary school.
The event included a talk show with the theme “A Joyful Transition for Children,” which highlighted the importance of empathetic, communicative, and collaborative approaches among teachers, parents, and children in navigating the transition period.
At the same time, a children’s competition was held as a platform to stimulate gross motor development, train concentration, and create a joyful atmosphere that supports a positive, pressure-free transition.
The District Manager of KREASI Pesisir Barat, Oktavia Wuri, emphasized:
“We are very grateful to all local governments who have opened space for active collaboration and continued to accompany us in education partnerships that prioritize children’s rights, especially in Pesisir Barat through the Program of KREASI.”
Through this campaign, it is hoped that a joint cross-sector movement will grow to support quality early childhood education (PAUD) services and a joyful PAUD-to-primary school transition, so that every child can grow into a well-rounded individual—intellectually, emotionally, socially, and morally.
