Leaders of Save the Children Indonesia held a courtesy meeting with the leadership of Majelis Dikdasmen PNF PP Muhammadiyah in Jakarta Pusat on Monday, 15 September 2025.
Save the Children Indonesia was represented by Chair of the Board of Trustees, Daniel Rembeth; Senior Director of Advocacy, Campaigns, and Government Relations, Tata Sudrajat; Chief of Party of KREASI, Alifah Lestari; and Deputy Chief of Party of KREASI, Imelda Usnadibrata.
Meanwhile, representatives of the Majelis Dikdasmen PNF PP Muhammadiyah included Chair, Didik Suhardi, and Director of KREASI, Gufron Amirullah.
During the interactive meeting, participants shared various ideas, recommendations, and strategies to ensure that the program effectively reaches its intended beneficiaries and can be implemented sustainably.
Alifah Lestari expressed her hope that the KREASI Program implemented by the Majelis Dikdasmen PNF PP Muhammadiyah could be expanded beyond Ketapang and Kayong Utara districts in Kalimantan Barat.
“We hope the training developed by KREASI and its partners, particularly Muhammadiyah, can be sustained and strengthen the capacity of teachers and school principals. This will improve students’ learning processes, and we hope it will ultimately contribute to stronger literacy and numeracy outcomes,” she said.
Imelda Usnadibrata added that the coordination meeting also discussed program alignment to support the government.
She also expressed her hope that the KREASI Program could be continued and further developed by local governments together with education ecosystems in the respective districts.
Meanwhile, Didik Suhardi, explained that the meeting discussed the progress of the KREASI Program in Ketapang and Kayong Utara districts.
“So far, the program activities implemented by our teams at both the national and local levels have progressed according to the plans we established,” he said.
Didik also proposed that the KREASI Program should not only focus on capacity strengthening and improving learning processes but also address learning media and other important aspects of classroom instruction.
