During the Quarter I 2026 meeting, updates on various programs funded by the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) in Indonesia were presented by implementing organizations on 29 April 2026.
The KREASI Program of the GPE Multiplier Grant implemented by Save the Children, also reported its progress.
On this occasion, KREASI Chief of Party, Alifah Sri Lestari, presented the achievements of the KREASI Program for the first quarter of 2026 at the Local Education Group forum. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Co-Chairs from the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education and the Ministry of Religious Affairs, as well as GPE Country Engagement Lead for Southeast Asia, Talia Miranda, who joined virtually.
Talia stated that regular meetings like this are highly valuable because they allow the government to provide policy direction, discuss program progress, and collectively address challenges. According to her, such collaboration is important to ensure that all parties can concretely support the government’s priority programs in the education sector.
In addition to Save the Children, several other GPE-supported programs include the GPE System Capacity Grant implemented by UNICEF, GPE KIX EMAP implemented by the Center for Education and Policy Studies (PSPK), and GPE Out Loud implemented by the Indonesian Education Monitoring Network (JPPI).
