KREASI Baseline Study Report

Save the Children commissioned a baseline study for KREASI program to establish evidence on the current status of teaching, learning, and school systems in the program’s target areas. The study aims to capturing condition of the quality of teaching and learning, school leadership, and child protection as a basis for assessing how effectively policies and practices in the field accommodate the needs of students from diverse socioeconomic, cultural, gender, and disability backgrounds

The study was led by the Pusat Studi Pendidikan dan Kebijakan (PSPK), using the DFAT-INOVASI program tool, the Student Learning Assessment (SLA).

The KREASI baseline result is disseminated for all education stakeholders in national and district levels. This includes the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) and the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) as the Co-Chairs of Local Education Group (LEG) and all Members, KREASI Local Implementing Partners in 8 Districts and 4 Provinces, District Education and Religious Affair Offices.

Dissemination Event

KREASI held a dissemination event for the baseline study results in Jakarta on 26 February 2026. The event presented the findings of the baseline study, which were then responded to by experts from the government and education NGOs.
