KREASI Tanggamus Holds 4 Trainings in a Week to Strengthen Teacher and Principal Capacity 

KREASI Tanggamus, implemented by Lembaga Pendidikan Ma’arif NU, organized four training and workshop activities in a single week to strengthen the capacity of teachers and principals in supporting inclusive, GEDSI-responsive (gender equality, disability, and social inclusion), child-friendly, and environmentally conscious learning. 

The activities included: a Training on Strengthening School Principal Capacity in Implementing Teacher Performance Regulations and Transitioning to Portfolio Assessment on 18 September; Development and Enhancement of Literacy and Numeracy Learning Resources for Early Childhood and Primary Education that are GEDSI-responsive, Child-Friendly, and Integrated with Climate Change on 19–20 September 2025. 

It also included a Training on Capacity Building in GEDSI-Responsive Education on 18–19 September 2025; and a Workshop on the Use of the Sustainable Lifestyle Education Module to Promote Climate Resilience on 19–20 September.

The Program of KREASI or Kolaborasi untuk Edukasi Anak Indonesia (Collaboration for the Education of Indonesian Children) is funded by the Global Partnership for Education, developed by the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, and the Ministry of Religious Affairs. KREASI in Tanggamus is being implemented by Save the Children and local implementing partner Lembaga Pendidikan Maarif NU, support by the Government of Tanggamus with aims to improve the quality of education in Indonesia by strengthening teaching, learning, and student development.
