The KREASI Provincial Support Team held an introductory and coordination meeting with the Nias Selatan Education Office on Friday (19/10/2025). The KREASI team was welcomed directly by the Head of the Nias Selatan Education Office, Nurhayati Telaumbanua.
This meeting served as an introduction for three new KREASI staff members who will support program implementation in Nias Selatan and Nias Utara. It also functioned as a strategic coordination meeting to share information on the achievements and challenges of the KREASI in Nias Selatan. This was necessary to align KREASI’s upcoming work plan with input from the Education Office.
Nurhayati warmly welcomed the new staff and the progress of KREASI as of September. She also expressed full support for KREASI in Nias Selatan and conveyed her gratitude for KREASI’s contributions in assisting the local government’s efforts to improve education quality in Nias Selatan.

The Program of KREASI or Kolaborasi untuk Edukasi Anak Indonesia (Collaboration for the Education of Indonesian Children) is funded by the Global Partnership for Education, developed by the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, and the Ministry of Religious Affairs. KREASI is being implemented by Save the Children with Ikatan Guru Indonesia and support by the Government of Nias Selatan. KREASI aims to improve the quality of education in Indonesia by strengthening teaching, learning, and student development.
